Need help finding a gift (self.Blind)
submitted by star_baby05
Hi! I have a niece who will be 5 months this month, she is mostly blind but can see very bright things or people when they're close to her. I want to get a gift that is bright and has sound but I'm not sure what to get. Has anyone got any recommendations?

The brand Lamaze has really bright colours for little kiddos. We got a yellow lamaze octopus 8 years ago and he's still a hit! Edit: his arms honk different tones

I’m not sure where to find them but are used to have a pillow that lights up and makes some noises it’s saying a song. That might be a good idea

Get one of those little toy keyboards that are miniature. When you press the keys, they sing songs.

Amazon has some amazing braille books with animal and textures and information. I got some for my grandson. I am visually impaired but now we enjoy them together. They have large print as well. So his parents can read them to him as well. Touch and texture books that talk ha e braille and print are awesome so the whole family can participate and her the little one used to different touch sensations.
