Retro Arch newbie trying to play (self.Blind)

Hello guys. I have been trying to play Pokémon platinum on retro arch and I am using NVDA on windows 10. I am using the desmume core but when the game starts it doesn’t read even the title screen. Any help would be much appreciated.

Honestly, I haven’t tried this one because I don’t know what this means, can you please explain further?

I meanthat I've tried the app in the past. I got the screen reader working but don't remember how but couldn't get it to read out text on the screen.
