A Wordweb and screen reader question (self.Blind)
submitted by Psychonaut55
Hello,
First of all, sorry for the title, couldn't think of anything better. Second, I don't know if this kind of post is allowed here but considering it's screen reader, and thus blind related, I guess that's ok :)

So my question is as follows: does anyone know Wordweb's accessibility level with NVDA? So far I've managed to use its main function just fine, but some other functions, such as hearing word pronunciations, I'm not able to use. I can't even find a play/pause button or something like that when I'm looking up a word, so I'm really at a loss here. Could anyone help me, please?

Again, sorry if this kind of post isn't allowed here. If this is the case just let me know and I'll delete it as soon as possible.

Thanks a lot for any and all help.

I just use Google's dictionary when I need to look up a word. Just type "define:word" in the search field without the quotes or any spaces before or after the colon. It has a listen button which plays a sound clip from which you can hear the pronunciation, and is accessible.

It also works if you just type the word as the only word in your search.

I don’t know, but if you have Alexa you could ask her what the word means or you could look on websites such as wiktionary.org
