Hi all,
Just found this sub and am reading through all the top posts.
Funny story; a few years ago, leaving the hospital after finding out that I'm losing my sight and walking right into a lamppost. I had to just stand there and laugh like an idiot otherwise I am sure I would have broken down crying.

I've quipped that I'm unusually familiar with lampposts myself. I've also vanquished my mortal foe - knee high bollards - by getting a cane.

I few years ago I visited the Microsoft building in NYC, which is all glass in the interior. I was kind of like a trapped bird. I really wish they kept the glass a bit dirtier, it was way too clean...

May I ask what happened to your eye sight? I'm currently studying in the field and would love to know your story. If you're not comfortable I totally understand and hope you can still feel some fulfillment in audio books! I listen to them on my daily commute often
