I ( 29 M) have gone impotent because of health condition, and sometimes I also think if I should continue living. I am on this subreddit to draw some motivation from you guys to continue living.

Are they federal student loans? If so, get them discharged. Legal blindness is a total and permanent disability that makes you eligible for student loan forgiveness.

Life is worth living even with blindness, but it does take awhile to redefine yourself.

Honestly, hearing lost would have been harder on me as music has been my life since I was three.

When I'm not playing music, I help my husband screen write plays and add in an extra layer of theatrics that isn't all sight base.

As for job/career goes, I compile and analyze data, it pays the bills enough that I have a reliable stable living.

Nah, they're private. There is an option for forgiveness, but that would make me ineligible for future student loans (in case I want to pursue something else one dah)

Of course it is. At least that's my opinion. I don't have that much vision loss but I have also autism, a tic-disorder and central coordination disorder as well as I am hearing impaired. And yes it is difficult and yes I can't do some stuff. But I can still find meanings in my life. Voluntary work helped me a lot. I can help others and that means I am nessesary and important.
Even though he has a different disability the video of this guy helped me with acceptance: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-kLMr3iCXd0

I hope I could help a little bit. I know it's hard to accept that we can't control the future and the disability will stay with us, but we can decide how we define us with it.

If you want to talk or anything just let me know.
