You can make a big ol' floppy ribbon bow that's easy to slide off. With the wrapping paper, you can fold the seem to make it tactile and easy to feel out so she can start pulling from there.

To be honest, visually impaired people are often better at opening and unwrapping things, because you can now quickly learn more about a package with your hands than with your eyes.

yeah I was going to say, I don't think wrapping paper is high on the list of accessibility issues, but it's sweet to check!

I've always dreamed of braille wrapping paper that spelled out something like 'happy birthday' or 'happy holidays' over and over... but it would probably be much easier just to make or find or buy paper with slightly 3D tactile patterns on it than adding braille to giant sheets of rolled paper...

Im on a budget amd tend to use tishue paper but this is sooo cool, i really hope they make braile paper soon!

it would be really tricky because usually braille needs thicker paper but... one day :)

Could be done on gift boxes then a ribbon to hold the lid on.

Oh, that sounds fun. That's why I suggested the big bow, anyway. To make it stand out and make it fun to touch

Yeah, that would make the paper much bigger. But interesting idea.

I think wrapping it anyway is good. No real specific best way we can open regularly wrapped stuff too.
