You should ask for accommodations. Your doctor writes a note to verify your disability and what you need. Whether while testing or not.

Talk to your school’s disability / accessibility services office, and get testing accommodations such as using the TI software on the computer that displays the calculator screen onto the computer screen, or allowing you to have someone else read the screen for you, or something else like that.
Meanwhile, does a magnifying glass help? And talk directly with the professor, some will give accommodations without any documentation.

Thanks! I’ll try to find a time to ask

I was in a similar situation and was able to use the TI Inspire App on my Ipad. I was allowed to use it in exams without a problem, as the Ipad (probably also other devices) has a setting where the user is restricted to only using one app and functions like internet etc. are disabled.
Further I would suggest getting in contact with your schools accessibility services office, if you haven‘t already done that.

Hmmm I have an iPad. I’ll have to look into that, thanks!

I don't think it would help you now but this link might be interesting to you: https://www.orbitresearch.com/product/orion-ti-84-plus/ It's a bit expencive but I think it might be what you're looking for, it does have speech though so perhaps not.

Can you use the calculator under a cctv or phone/tablet set up to be a cctv or OCR? Agreed with other posters mentioning accommodations- you need to at least speak to the professor and disability office but it’s pretty close to the exam date. Did you not need a calculator for the other exams in the course?

I needed it for a few questions, but I just struggled through it. This time it’s the whole test, so that’s not an option. But I’m not sure what those abbreviations mean. I don’t often use accommodations so I really have nothing
