Looking for help on accessibility (self.Blind)

I am an online learning developer. I use a piece of software called Storyline.

The system has built-in question designs that would be great to use. However, I suspect users of screen readers would be exposed to both the incorrect and correct feedback regardless of their answer.

If you could take 2 minutes to test this out and comment here as to your results, I would be forever grateful.

All you need to do is go to this link, answer the question incorrectly, and comment on whether or not your screen reader allowed you to hear the correct feedback. Then repeat the process, answering the question correctly and commenting whether or not your screen reader allowed you to hear the incorrect feedback.

Thank you so much for your help!!

First test. On the ipad or any ios device I am using voiceover. The boxes didn’t want to check besides one incorrect answer box and it told me I chose the wrong answer.

It seems to work okay on voice over on the mac fine. Correct answer told me it was correct. Incorrect answer said it wasn’t.

Ah - ok . My apologies. I never told the system which was the correct answer. I think it works correctly now.

Can confirm that you seem to always get the " Youdid not select the correct answer" prompt even if you select the one marked correct. Are you the developer of this piece of software?

What screen reader did you use?

I am definitely not the developer, just a user.

I used NVDA on WIndows

I tested it with NVDA, a Windows screen reader. When the answer is incorrect it announces it right, but when the answer is correct it still tells me that the answer is incorrect.
