Every time someone says “hey read this” and holds up their phone

Teacher in my school likes to tell, turn your head and look out the window. But that school is for blind.

No but I am also totally blind for a long time and no one would say that to me anyway.

I do this with people. Not when we're talking just when it is silent. I just think about that person and if they're close to me how much I love them. Then I turn my head and quote unquote stare at them and just think about them, like I'll think to myself, "This is my dad. He's so dad punny and it's so bad it's good. I love this person with all my heart and I hope we have lots more fun times to come." I know this seems weird but it's what I do. Not all the time, just when it's silent and I'm overwhelmed with emotion towards that person. I might do it with someone else if they're in the room too. I'll quote unquote look from my dad to my brother and do the same thing. Am I weird? Does anyone else do this? Also when I say look I literally have no idea how to control my eyes so I basically just turn my head to face them and then just try to stop my eyes from blinking.

I had vision for 29 years before I lost it, so I always still turn my head towards whatever I'm focusing on, or turn towards sounds , etc. I retained a lot of my sighted mannerisms when interacting with people or doing tasks, just totally involuntary at this point.

I always seem to forget I’m completely blind in my left eye. One time at uni, someone entered the classroom and I turned my head to the left to see who it is before realising. Good times.
