As a sound designer and composer experienced in horror music, I have to be honest. I do like the overall progression, especially as it gets more intense near the end. The "la la la..." did have a certain creep factor because little girls are creepy. My biggest issue with it is it was very repetitive. Particularly the four "la" notes which sounded like the start to something much creepier but never really went anywhere. The end result was much less creepy than it easily could have been. I vaguely remember the game on which this is based, and it sounded like you were going for something more seriously creepy. Perhaps I am mistaken? This piece of music, while certainly far from "bad" seems like it would fit better in a more light-hearted creepy game.
