Have you reached out to HIMS? If you purchased the warranty, they'll likely be able to repair it. They'll also be able to talk you through any trouble shooting, if an easy fix is available. I've always had fantastic experiences calling the tech support at AT companies like HIMS, Humanware, Index, etc. I've found that a lot of tech support reps are AT users themselves, so they know the devices like the back of their hand.
I just had to send back a year-ish old Polaris because the braille display is toast. We do not have a warranty and the repair is going to be fun. Thankfully we just got our grant funding in. HIMS seems to be really responsive though, so don't be afraid to give them a call!
Hard lesson learned- buy the warranty!
