I took them. All the accommodations you get on your SAT/PSAT should transfer to the AP tests, as they are through the same company (collegeboard). You should ask your advocate or VI teacher if you have one through your school to help you make sure this is the case.

I know my school has applied for accommodations.. but they never truly explained what they could look like and I guess that’s where I’m possibly overthinking it. I’ve been trying to figure out what a reader may actually be able to “read” if I get to some sort of graph if that makes sense?

That depends on what accommodations you got. Depending on the test, any possible graphs and or tables and images should be fairly easy to describe for a reader, and you can always ask questions to them about what something may look like.

I know you used to be able to pull up practice exams on the college board website. Get the accessible version, and it’ll give you an idea of what the graph descriptions are like. They’re very detailed. I’m not able to look for it at the moment, but might be able to in a day or two.

From u/texanpanda, who accidently replied to me:

Yes. It's a very common test

Yes and when I did them I absolutely sucked at them. currently questioning if I am even that suited to academia

Yes, I took Ap tests with accommodations the last two years. I might be able to answer your questions
blind_cowboy1 points2y ago
Yes, but I graduated from HS in 01 so it’s been a while. I don’t recall having problems with a reader describing things, and I got through them just fine.

I took them seven or eight years ago--for the first two years they were okay, but for the last year they sent my tests in regular print, large print, and Braille. Like, all of them in all 3 formats. I still don't know what happened.
