My father in law is blind and uses his Alexa daily. Are there any good subscriptions or things on the Alexa that would make a great birthday gift? Thank you.

Audible? Kindle Unlimited?
We like the Vocala game skills too.

What is vocala? I may need to research that. Thank you.

they do quiz things and other fun games. Pointless and Tenable are UK-based gameshows. Yak Yak Quiz is a daily 3-question quiz etc.

I got my son an Alexa smart microwave that we have paired with our echo show. Put the food in, give Alexa the command and the microwave turns on for however long you asked it to be on. There are also pre built commands like "pop popcorn". They have a toaster oven, too. Pretty slick stuff.

That’s really cool. Thank you. Going to need to look in to that.

Not blindness related but either ambient sounds or sleep sounds or something like that there’s a couple I’ve only found two and I subscribed to them they’re fun sometimes they’re relaxing.
