Reddit for blind for windows and distopia for iphone but you have to sign up to beta version

Wait! I haven't published RedditForBlind officially yet :P. I'm kidding, but the app is still under development. I'm working hard on it adding features. I will officially release it when I feel it is in a good state, which shouldn't be in too long.
That said, it can be found at https://www.redditforblind.org, but again, expect the app to be minimalist for now.

Ooo really cool I didn’t know there was such a solution for windows thanks for making it.
RedditForBlind1 points2y ago
did you write that post with the app?
siriuslylupin62 points2y ago
No I am on dystopia
FantasticGlove2 points2y ago
Dystopia all the way. I just wish the dude who made it got it out of the beta stage.
Superfreq22 points2y ago
My vote is for dystopia as well.

I tried to download it but it may not be available outside the US. At least it told me it wasn't available in my region. Such a shame

Then try bacon reader

Have downloaded it. It’s really awesome!

Apollo on iOS.

That app has issues with jumping around and when you go to your profile it just says saved.
RunsOnBoltCoffee1 points2y ago
Yea, I definitely hear you on profile. Sometimes swipe scrolling can get snagged but a page down gesture solves that. Maybe not the most accessible but still highly useable.
bradley221 points2y ago
It is.

I am using bacon reader for iOS
siriuslylupin61 points2y ago
Dystopia or bacon reader.
One-for-all-wielder1 points2y ago
Dystopia for me
siriuslylupin61 points2y ago
Yeah, I agree with you.

baconReader for iOS. The dev team has listened and directly addressed accessibility issues as I raise them in the beta program, plus actively research best practices to make their experience inclusive. Still have some things to work out, but for the most part it's been the best app I've found and used so far.

Hi, I’m doing quite well with baconreader, but can anyone tell me where the chat tab is? I found it easily on RedditApp but not on bacon. Thanks for your help.
Marconius1 points1y ago
BaconReader doesn't have access to the reddit chat feature, you only have access to your PMs. I have chat turned off for my accounts since it's bad compared to standard messages, but when I was looking into it, I'd just open the desktop version of reddit in Safari in iOS and hunt for the chat there.
