LaTeX Math (self.Blind)
submitted by CMM41329
Hey guys,

I use the TexMaker editor for LaTeX math. I use it with ZoomText currently, but it doesn’t seem to be accessible with JAWS or NVDA. Does anyone know of a LaTeX editor that is accessible for screen reading software?

Thanks!

I write my latex by hand, but I know a lot of people don't like doing that. If you go that route any text editor will work for you. I've been using emacs with emacspeak recently.

Thanks! So does emacspeak work well to view the PDF?

No, not really. Emacspeak works to write the markup but you won't be able to reliably read the PDF with it, as far as I am aware.
