A question for all Android and Gboard users (self.Blind)

Hello guys,
So a ffew days ago I noticed that my Talkback just stopped reporting what I was typing. I was curious as to what might be causing it, so I downgraded my Talkback. The error was still there.
I then downgraded my Gboard, since it is keyboard related and the problem wasn't with Talkback. Well, turns out I was right and apparently, Gboard's latest version is broken in this regard, that is, every time we type something and then press space, all that Talkback speaks is "space" instead of the last word as it used to do.
As a workaround, I'm using Swiftkey as my default keyboard for now. But I really like the way Gboard works and it would be good if I could get it back.
So my question is: is anyone else experiencing this issue? Something that I can try so that I can hear what I'm typing again?

Hello!
Out of curiosity, how do you use gboard?
It frustrates me to have to search letter by letter by sliding my finger, and for that reason I only use the talkback keyboard, the one that allows you to write in braille. The problem I see is that it is only in English braille, so I do not have many characters that I use in my daily life, such as ñ.

Hi,
The only way of using Gboard, as far as I know, is exactly how you just described. You slide your finger searching letter by letter.
There's not much we can do about it, but I'd encourage you to try and get used to this typing method. Maybe it will take some time but I'm sure you'll manage to do it right :)

I'm not using it however, you can subscribe to the beta from playstore.

Ok, I will try it. I was a beta tester for a few apps, but it's been a while and I don't know for sure what I did so that I could become part of the beta program. Thanks for your time and answers :)

I do have the pixel XL or original, which is obviously sitting in my drawer I can see if I can reproduce the issue? Let me know after subscribing if you're facing perhaps we can arrange the older apk, for Google keyboard which does not have this issue.
