Are there any individuals who are blind and or animal owners, if so, how do you take care of your animals? (self.Blind)

Hi I'm actually an animal rescuer/rehabilitator, and have quite a few animals at my house at any one time. I generally have a good mental layout of my house. I make sure to keep my animals that are in tanks/cages/etc in the same room. I put what the animal is in braille on the table in front of the tank or cage and I have a plank of wood on the floor right in front of the table where they are kept. I use my cane to feel where the wood is and step over it, then I know that I'm in front of them .

For animals like dogs/cats etc that's a little trickier. I try to keep their bedding in one place. For cats I make sure they're wearing some kind of Bell, for dogs they generally aren't hard to hear at any one time and I can usually call them over, that's(not really including the injured animals I care for ). Regardless of anything I have said it is still a good idea to have someone check on everything/help you sometimes, and for things like walking the animal if needed. Also it's so important to be absolutely sure that they can't access anything Dangerous, I also have a guide dog

Would you be interested in coming on my show 3rd Eye visions and talk about it

This is very interesting, the reason why I ask is because I have a talk show, third eye vision, a show which bridge is the gap between the blind sighted community, would you be interested in coming on and talking about this to inform my audience?

I have tons of animals, of all different types. I just ake care of them. I feel them to make sure they don't have anything wrong with them, put food in their bowls, feel their water to make sure its full and clean, walk them, play with them, nothing sepcial really.

I have 2 small dogs as pets. They seem to know to stay out from under my feet. I change out their water bowl every morning so it is always full. I have a fenced yard with a dog door. I can hear their tags on their collars. They have learned on their own when I stick out my hand and say, “where are you?” to come close and touch my hand. They love to snuggle and play just like any other dogs.

We have a cat. She was a rescue.

Cats are super low maintenance which is important because of fitting in around work, neither of us wanted a dog we had to walk every day, but I don't think that's got anything to do with being blind. I've known three cats really well, one of them when I could still see, and I think the only issue is that cats are silent. They move so quietly that the first you know is when it lands on your stomach and purrs. But that's OK, that's an excuse for a nap!
