When I close Chrome, are there other sites running in the background that could betray my viewing activity for a person with vision? What about Brave? I noticed that at Brave, NVDA reads a section from a specific site to me, even though I left this site. It is a single site. I close these applicatio (self.Blind)

If you quit the program, nothing will be running. Your history may still be there if it wasn't in an Incognito mode. Your screen reader continued to speak because it grabbed the text while it was still open.

No but as others have said if you don’t clear cashes then they may. Or the history.

Not by looking at your screen. There are plenty of ways to know where you go online for a tech savvy person that lives in the same house though
