By typology, do you mean personality typing systems such as MBTI or the enneagram? I used to be really into them, but I couldn’t find everything that was recommended to me. The same thing happens with light novels and literary criticism.

Yes. I do.

That’s what I mean I had to scan them in I scanned in over 70 books I have to remake one of the books I have all the file I doubled a chappter and inserted the wrong file but yeah...... that’s what I mean not sure if anyone has gone out of their way to get the materials and convert it.

I find that you have to get books and do the work. Or you have to get bookshare. If I can find a easier way I will do it but haven’t. So yeah, glad to hear other people found it as challenging. I found a way forward but yeah. Most of the ones I have converted are mbti and enneagram and a socionics one. Socionics is easier to find online yes and no but most of the really good stuff is in russian unfortunately. There’s one book on kindle so I just got that one.

If you read Russian Braille, you can find Russian e-books on Lib.ru. IPhones can also read Russian. Another place to look for e-books is OpenLibrary. It’s part of the Internet Archive, and features accessible books in Daisy format, that you can download and play on a Note-taker, or Daisy player, such as the Victor Reader. OverDrive, or Hoopla, e-book rental platforms used by public libraries in the US, were accessible last I checked, and resources like iBooks for the iPhone may have more niche titles that you can purchase. You can also read Kindle books either on an iPhone or a PC, and the Kindle store may have the niche titles you’re looking for.

I don’t unfortunately I have to translate the stuff.

Yeah, kindle has been helpful depends which. I found some but still had to scan in like 50 to 70 which was in nothing but print. Hmm... one wonders if that russian stuff is up there could grab it and translate it I have a few someone sent me but yeah.

Depending on whether the files are scanned images, or just text, you could run them through Google Translate, but I wouldn’t trust a program like that with a textbook/scientific paper. You could check with a subreddit like R/Russian, they may know of sources for translations or could find translators.

For sure I’ve done it but not sure how accurate the stuff I have got on hand is but. Definitely agreed. I was mainly wondering if there were others like me didn’t have to be russian but was wondering if any others has similar struggles or had to do as much work. Blind people and unusual blind hobbies haha.

Definitely make sure to look at libgen before scanning books if you haven't already.
