What are some jobs and opportunities for blind people?(self.Blind)
submitted by integerinternet
Preferably online or even offline works, but what is something that doesn't require exertion (because of health condition) that someone who is extremely good at making friends and getting to know people - just generally a great people person can do meaningfully? These skills are useful when someone is already a business(wo)man but not that society work wise
What are some things that don't require a lot of years of study - something someone who isn't that young can get into fast?

Maybe working in Human Resources?
I've not worked in HR myself but from what I've seen a lot of it is dealing with people, policies and processes.

If you invest in school, court reporters are in high demand and you can do captioning and transcribing from home. Just takes training to learn the Steno machine.

Transcribing goes beyond just court reporting. If you’re a good typist look at transcription.

Interesting. Thank you

And speaking of court, how about getting training to be a mediator.

My husband was a radio announcer for 40 plus years.
Also look at computing.
What do you like to do? What do you do well? What do you want to learn about?
Best wishes for your future!

Maybe tutoring or customer support? There are more and more virtual opportunities for both types of jobs now.

Have you ever thought about becoming a certified ADHD coach? It is a rising field of individuals who specialize in helping people living with ADHD develop skills to help them better function and thrive in their academic, professional, and personal lives. Skill areas may include time management, organization, and etc. It would allow you to use your people skills to help people successfully manage their day to day lives through a professional relationship that is less emotionally intense than traditional therapy.
