Why can other Zoom video chat participants hear JAWS even if I am wearing a headset and how do I stop this from happening? (self.Blind)
submitted by TheBlindCreative
Hi everyone. I am experiencing an issue when using JAWS while on Zoom calls. Even if I am wearing a headset, other participants can still hear jaws when I am unmuted. how do I prevent this from occurring in the future?

It could simply be that Jaws is bleeding through the headset and getting picked up by the mic.

Have you checked your audio settings in Zoom, and your setting in Windows? I believe you can also choose which soundcard Jaws comes out of, if you have multiple.

You might be piping in your computer sound into the zoom call.

Click the arrow next to the mute/unmute. Check your Microphone options. Make sure your mic isn't using a JAWS output.

Maybe the headset is leaking?
