New remedy for people with retinopathy pigmentosa(self.Blind)

I found this post and thought it might help a lot of people. From what I understand, it doesn't work for my retinopathy of prematurity, which confused me a little, but I hope that others will be useful:
An impressive achievement, but sounds like there is still a long way to go. Restoring light perception when this is the first time the device has been implanted is a phenomenally good result, but being able to determine the size and shape of a picture is a long way from being able to discern detail within the image. A fantastic initial outcome though and I'll be sure to keep close track of this technology's progress.
