Morse code. It's fun to learn, there are also European and world competitions, but it's useless in real life. However, it would be good if someone you know knows him and you want to send secret messages, help each other with tests at school, etc.

Audio books, chess can be played by VI people/or checkers with 2 sets of distinct shaped markers. There are a few video games for VI people also

Self introspection? Requires no sight there are probably some western typology books that are to this end in audio and when they recover can get in to it full time by reading text get use to a screen reader and try to use it and browse the web?

They've tried and have found they're too reliant on eyesight to do it.
