Is anyone here proficient with the latest version of microsoft Excel and Jaws? (self.Blind)
submitted by Prefect316
I'm needing to use Excel for a new project, and i'm finding that the search function in Excel isn't working properly. Pressing insert + ctrl + f does bring up the dialogue to search for text, but Jaws always spits back an error even if the info I'm searching for is clearly on the sheet. Has anyone found a way around this? It's severely hampering my workflow.

Ctrl+f is the search command isn't it?
Adding insert uses the JAWS virtual search?

Ctrl f in excel triggers find & replace

yes, it's a multi-page dialog. CtRL+F opens the find portion, CTRL+H opens find and replace. CTRL+tab switches between the 2 whilst in the dialog.

Did you sort this out? CTRL=F works for me on the latest Office version.

I appreciate you following up. To be honest, I got disheartened and went back to GoogleSheets with my tail tucked between my legs. I'd still like to master Excel though. Do you know of any good resources? I've started looking at the documentation Jaws provides in their help section.
