How to Move a contact from one address book to another in Thunderbird? (self.Blind)
submitted by Psychonaut55
Hello,
Maybe this is not the right place for asking for such a help since this is too specific. However, I tried to post this question on a more appropriate subreddit but I just can't finish my post. It asks me for a flair post, and I can't, for the life of me, find a way of selecting one. So bear with me, please :)
With this out of the way here's the question. I'm using Thunderbird and I have more than one address book. I need to move a contact from one of these books to another, and one would expect that it could be accomplished by selecting the contact, copying it then pasting it somewhere else. No, it can't.
Searching for a solution for this, looks like the way of doing such operation is by dragging and dropping. Now we are here, right where I don't know what to do. I'd think that dragging and dropping isn't an option for us, at least using a screen reader. So there are two questions:
1. If it's possible, how would we go about dragging and dropping using a screen reader?
2. If this is not, could anyone that uses Thunderbird please help me on how to move this contact to a different address book?
Sorry for the long post and thanks for reading. Any and all help will be much appreciated.
