Weird issues with reddit using Jaws and Google Chrome over the past few days? (self.Blind)
submitted by guitarandbooks
Hey everybody.

A few quick things...

I haven't used reddit with my Mac recently;just on my windows 10 machine so this pertains to windows... I'm not sure what happened to reddit lately or if this is a chrome issue... For the past few days, my screen reader is losing focus when I am browsing through subs on the main page. Is this some sort of auto scrolling or auto refresh thing? If that's what it is, is there a way to turn it off? It's driving me nuts! I'll go through a few subs and then all of the sudden, I'm somewhere else on the page and even if I go back up, I still get tossed around.

Also, until recently, my reddit user name and carma score were at the top of my reddit home page. Now it just says user account menu and pressing it doesn't seem to do anything...

Finally, the upvote and downvote buttons were above a sub as you go through the list but now it seems like this is reversed and the buttons are now below the title/link of the sub. Is this correct?

Is this stuff driving anybody else bonkers or is it just me?

Thanks.

Just use reddit clients and all of these issues are gone I’ve dealt with none of it reddit has been seemless as ever.

Either dystopia or bacon reader. There’s also one for windows.

It sounds to me like you might be using the new reddit, go to preferences and take a look there for something to do with old reddit.
