These questions tell me nothing about the device but it does sound like your app/device might be a cane, look at wewalk, or map app, look at microsoft soundscape, the wewalk app, and more.

Thank you for the reply! Our team's initial idea is to have a vest with multiple sensors and motors to provide haptic feedback for the user to guide them in their surroundings.
To clarify this post, the survey is strictly used to understand the users' needs and situations. Our idea/device may not even be a fitting solution to visually impaired individuals. This survey is just to determine all of the variables such individuals experience in their daily lives to better understand what the user actually needs instead of what our team assumes would be a good solution.
We apologize for not being more transparent initially.

That's no problem, I'd personally not use it as I have enough mobility skills to get around.
