What do you like? Genres I mean. Do you want to laugh? Cry? Fall asleep?

At this moment in time, here's what I'm watching:

Breaking Bad (Audio described on Netflix)
The Wire (Unfortunately, only available from audiovault.net),
Wandavision (Disney Plus)
Mystic Quest (AppleTv)

I totally missed your preference for Netflix, BBC, or Sky. Sorry about that.

If I'm not mistaken, Doctor Who and Sherlock might be described on BBC iPlayer. I'm in the U.S. though. Oh and also His Dark Materials is described on iPlayer.

I love both Doctor Who and Sherlock! What's His Dark Materials. Also I wish Supernatual were audio described.

And yes I'd love supernatural to be described. the CW has a poor rep for describing their stuff.
Prefect316 1 points 2y ago
It's based on a book series by Phillip Poleman (spelling might be off) and it's a fantasy series about a girl who finds a magic compass that can tell her magical things. There are also talking bears and evil monkeys.

Oh yeah I think I've heard of that. Nice!

Thanks! I'm definitely going to take a look at breaking bad, I've heard lots of good things about it, what's mystic quest about?
Prefect316 2 points 2y ago
Mystic Quest has Mack from It's Always Sunny in Philly fame as a video game company's CEO and he and his crew have wild adventures trying to keep their MMO RPG relavant. You don't really need to be entrenched in the gamer lingo to enjoy it. I definitely am not a gamer.

Me neither lol but certainly sounds interesting!
BexTheMixer 1 points 2y ago
What are all those about? I've heard of them and would like to know more.

Google is your friend. But I am stoned enough to try and provide synopses, so here we go!

Breaking Bad: the best synopsis for the show is: Chemistry teacher gets diagnosed with cancer and turns to making meth to pay for his cancer treatment and to support his family. Wild adventures abound.
The Wire is an HBO show that follows cops in DC trying to bust drug dealers. Very good writing but lots of strong language.

Wandavision is a Marvel show tied into the movie universe. I don't want to spoil so make sure you're caught up on the films or at least summaries of the films before you watch this absurd and awesome show.

I explained Mystic Quest further down in the comments.

Ah. I've never seen anything of Marvel so I'll probably pass on that third one.

I really want to watch the wire but haven't found a good way to sync the audio from audio vault and the video file I found when sailing the high seas.

Can I ask how you watch it using the audio vault audio please?
Prefect316 2 points 2y ago
Sadly I just listen to the MP3 audio. I'd love to sync it up to vide to watch with my gf.
poochbrah 2 points 2y ago
If yuu download the app to your phone you can filter by audio description and Netflix will show you all the movies or shows with audio description.

My favourites include breaking bad, better call Saul, marvels daredevil, marvels punisher, marvels iron fist, stranger things, money heist, narcos, peaky blinders, South Park, the good place, you, bodyguard, brooklyn 99

Better Call Saul on Netflix.

OP should watch Breaking Bad first though. Not essential but it is more rewarding that way.

Santa Clarita Diet on Netflix has very good audio descriptions. It is a comedy with mild zombie elements.
Prefect316 1 points 2y ago
I love that show. So sad it's canceled.
meeowth 1 points 2y ago
Yes Netflix started cancelling shows after a couple seasons when they got a new manager that discovered cancelling shows after 2 or 3 seasons was more profitable than having a smaller number of long running shows. So sad.
