Anyone know any good OCR apps that are fairly accurate at scanning large pdfs? (self.Blind)

I'm on a mac. I've so far really only used the free version of pdf pen, and maybe I should just buy it lol but wondered if theres any better ones out there? I find there are certain things I find annoying about pdf pen which I could just get used to, however I'm wondering what others use?
Thanks in Advance.

Not sure if there's a Mac version, but Q Read is pretty cheap and really good at scanning large documents.

I've used Abbyy Finereader on a PC. It is comprehensive, powerful and not cheap. Depending what you want to do there may be a cheaper product, e.g. just to read a PDF but if you want to do more such as edit and compare PDFs or convert accurately to editable format you may need this.

They have a free trial for the Mac version https://pdf.abbyy.com/finereader-pro-for-mac/
