Do you have a survey or questionnaire to post? (self.Blind)

Please read this thread first.

We get inundated with requests to complete surveys and a lot of our users are getting weary.

If you post a survey for your class or research project, we ask that you read the above thread and do a little research BEFORE asking for input.

If you post a survey request and it's clear you haven't done at least the bare minimum of research beforehand or taken note of the points raised in the above link, your post will be removed.

I'm a member of r/amputee who was checking y'all out to hopefully point a blind friend towards some healing, and we have the same fucking questionnaire problem. Solidarity forever!

I'd like to offer an example of a survey post that others should follow: the post by John Gray of Netflix asking for feedback on audio descriptions.

$1

His writing is inviting.
He responds thoughtfully to comments.
He provides great insight into something of interest to all, such as explaining how films are selected for audio description.
He acknowledges contributions: "great idea!"

His post doesn't feel like a survey. It feels like a conversation.

Wouldn't you like to meet John in person? Wow.

can we make something similar for all the want to be authors?

That’s a good idea.

And delete threads outside of this one.

Thank you for this information!

I am a UX researcher in training conducting a survey that needs participants. I recently completed an accessibility training (10 hours long) to help those of us in Human-Centered Design create more accessible products and services.

However, showing respect for your community is more important to me than assuming it's okay just because I have a certification. Would it be okay to post it here or would admins prefer that I don't? No hard feelings if the answer is no.
