I am a student at Penn State University and am conducting a research project for which I am hoping to gather responses from visually impaired students who have taken at least one online courses within the past 12 months. This research project plans to explore the challenges in the accessibility of e-learning for visually impaired students across multiple academic levels. The research will seek to examine how online educational curriculums and materials might be improved to ensure visually impaired students are able to not only navigate and access web content with assistive technology, but can also participate in their education in meaningful ways. This survey will serve as a portion of the intended research methods.
