Need help for screen reader? (self.Blind)
submitted by Busy-Obligation-8495
Hi there I am friends with two blind people and we are all part of a book group. I’m in the U.K and I am part of a book group with them. Due to COVID-19/personal interest I am developing a website for the book group to run on. its mainly for our group but is also public for anyone to join. Three people who will 100% be there are blind and I know that they use screen readers to navigate but all I know is it’s not the default Danial one that comes with the device. I’m pretty sure they download and payed for a better one. So this is my question. If I am making a website I don’t know if any of you know if I have to program anything in to make the screen reader work or do I just program it as usual. Also so I can do my own research please let me know what screenreader you use? I know this is very technical so don’t worry if you don’t know. Alternatively we are looking for people to beta test our site or just to join so weather you are visually impaired or not please let me know if you want the link.

Thanks

If you look up how to make a website accessible you’ll find stuff to read.
