Are there any less expensive alternatives to the Ruby Handheld Magnifier? (self.Blind)

I just use my phone camera and zoom in. If you need to do things like increase contrast, invert colors, convert to black & white or black & yellow, etc. check out the WeZoom app.

Oh, it might be Android only, sorry. Maybe look into BigMagnifier for iOS. I think it has filters for making text clearer. I think iOS has a built-in magnifier, too, but you have to enable it in the settings.

Use your phone or tablet. There are also apps like seeing AI that will scan and read the labels aloud. Office Lens is great for scanning g and extracting text. On iPhone I like the magnifier and zoom features in accessibility settings because I can freeze an image and zoom in.

Plenty of iPhone apps can do this, and even read full documents with OCR for you. SeeingAI is made by Microsoft and my go to recommend app
