ERG test results timeline (self.Blind)

Hello folks, I’m wondering for those of you who have had an ERG performed (or on your kids), how long did the results take? My daughter had an ERG on 3/2, and her follow up was scheduled for 3/15 but they called me on Saturday to reschedule if for MAY SEVENTEENTH which is just unacceptable. Hoping to get some insight as to how long this timeline is on average. Thanks for your help.

Results should be available right after the test...now the analysis of those.results is dependent on how busy the doctors are.

I had an ERG Feb 22nd and am still waiting on analysis. I was told I would be contacted in about 4 weeks after the appointment so I am waiting patiently. They had said their lab is working with a smaller staff right now due to Covid. I know it helps to just know, but I trust they are moving as fast as their power will allow.

Mine was the same hour because my ophthalmologist was waiting on the results to continue the exam.
I can understand your frustration. I took genetic tests in February of last year and I’m still waiting for results. No idea why it’s taking so long.

My daughter had an ERG we had the results the same day right after the procedure was over.
