I don't have any advice but I'm scared too. I am legally blind in my left eye due to glaucoma and retinal issues but I can still see well with my right eye. My glaucoma is progressing and my doctor doesn't know if surgery would work too help my glaucoma. It's scary, my friends and family are just like "big deal, you'd still be able to see with one eye!"

Blind in my left eye since childhood due to a drunk driver. (My optic nerve was severed) I dont really remember having sight in both eyes , but other than people sometimes thinking im blanking them when they wave at me from my left, and the not good at sports thing its not too bad. I guess i cant miss what i dont remember.

My daughter has albinism and in our country would not be allowed to drive anyway because of being legally blind. Sorry to hear your vision is deteriorating. There are operations for strabismus and another for nystagmus. Have you spoken to your opthamologist about them?
