Opinion on bar soap? (self.Blind)

Hello,

I am doing a project about soap for people with visual impairment and I was wondering what opinions people have on bar soap? Or do you prefer to use liquid soap?

Liquid soap, I hate the soap residue where it sits, and if you use any of the numerous receptacles to hold it, it needs cleaning too. Life is too short to spend ages trying to rid the earth of the mess it leaves! 😂

Liquid soap all the way! Bars tend to build up bacteria, and residue, and with liquid soap it’s really easy just to put some in my hand or on a loofah

Liquid soap. I hate the residue left from bar soap, and as previously mentioned, the dropping factor. It's no different t than feeling your shampoo and conditioner to know how much you are getting out. Feel it if you don't have enough vision left

Bar soap is fine until you drop it, I've been on all fours in my shower looking for a used, white sliver of 'Dove', not fun, and don't bang your head on that bar on your way up;)

I prefer using a bar. I prefer to feel it in my hands and know what's in contact with it. With liquid soap, I can't tell how much if any is in my hands and where its going.

I don't mind searching the shower floor for a dropped bar of soap.

As I sighted person I can attest that it is difficult to use liquid shampoo if I don’t look directly at it. I always have to move to make sure that water won’t get in my eyes while I use it.

I don’t mean for that to come across as insensitive or anything.

I use both. Bar soap along with a wash cloth. Liquid soap for face.

Bar soap. I buy this stuff with glycerine in it and keep it on the rack I hang over the shower head. No soap scum on the bath tub that way. Body wash always feels kinda slimy.

Bar soap but only because I hate still feeling slick with body wash. Just prefer the cleaner feel of bar soap.

I use bar soap. I always have. It’s good stuff when it’s the right soap because some soaps (the low quality cheap stuff) causes me skin problems but other than that, I use bar soap.

I like the scented bars you can get at Whole Foods. So many different scents!

It's soap. It gets me clean as it's supposed to do.
