Tech help with BARD app on iPhone (self.Blind)

This morning when I tried to download books the app told me “download failed” even when I tried downloading titles I’d downloaded successfully before. I tried logging out and back in, no change. I deleted the app and reinstalled it. Now when I try to download titles it says “queued for download” and won’t proceed to download, it’s been hours. I can’t find any help online so I turn to you, Blind Reddit. Any thoughts?

Bard has been up and down recently. I'd give it a couple of days. Can you still play content?

Unfortunately I deleted and reinstalled the app so I have no content to even try playing. u/YoYo31415 gave me the idea to try using the website tomorrow if things haven’t mystically resolved themselves overnight.

I do recall last week that the app made me log in every time I opened it, which just stopped happening one day on its own, so maybe you’re right. Hope so! Thanks.

Sounds like you need to sacrifice a goat and howl at the full moon, now. Lol.

Not sure on that specific issue, but I had some problems a day or two ago. I kept getting a message when I hit play that said I didn’t have permissions to access, or something like that. I deleted my books, re-added them, same thing. Even with books I’d listened to before. I quit the app from the app switcher a couple times and after 20 minutes or so it randomly started working again. Maybe the app is just having some issues? I have no idea if it made a difference, but I did log into the website again to goof around with adding new books to my wish list, so not sure if that helped or if it’s a just a coincidence.
Sorry, this probably doesn’t help much...hopefully it’s a random glitch and will right itself.

Plus you gave me the idea to try downloading on my laptop tomorrow (never used anything but my phone) if things don’t sort out, so you definitely helped!

Several days, another reinstall, and this is still happening. :(
