Meal kit for the visually impaired! (self.Blind)
submitted by seokirby
Hello! I’m SO sorry to bother you guys, but my name is Joey and I’m doing my senior project in college and I NEED to get survey results in order to pass this assignment. This short 10 question survey is about a food kit service that will accommodate the visually impaired. I know how annoying all these surveys are; I apologize! Thank you!

I LOVE surveys! And I love food. I completed your survey and enjoyed it. Would love to hear more about your project/assignment, when it's all finished and you have the time. :-)

PS--Braille would be a great option for these packages, IF there was a high enough demand for it. But I don't think there is. There is not enough demand, and it would cost SO much, enormous costs, to actually print in Braille and include it in or on a package so it doesn't get all smushed and flattened out.... If you could find a machine that could print Braille 'dots' out of some kind of polymer, or glue, that would work. But again, the costs.
If you think about it, printing in Large Print would benefit so many more people. A much higher percentage of people would benefit from large print. A lot of people who are older, who don't even realize they may have a vision problem would benefit from large print. And also, a lot of blind or VI people don't actually know how to read Braille. I just think Large Print would be the better option if you had to choose one of the other. Braille is a fantastic idea, but the amount of people who would actually use it versus the costs, would show that it isn't practical, even if your targeted group is VI or blind... Just my thoughts...

Good Luck with your assignment!! You're gonna ace it!

For the age category, there is nothing for ages 65-74.
