Kodi Screen Reader no longer working. (self.Blind)

So, any blind users able to use Kodi independently?
The Kodi Screen Reader doesn't seem to be developed anymore. I did try installing it on Kodi 19 and it says that it's no longer compatible.
I can sort of move around through the screens by doing an OCR on each one, but that's rather cumbersome.
I could use a sighted person to read the screens, but I'd rather use JAWS or NVDA; less attitude to deal with.
Anyway, I'd be curious to see if anyone has come up with a working solution.

just download kodi 18, and live with that, the screen reader is being updated, but it wont be ready for a wile

Does it still work? Like, when new versions are released, does the old version still work as expected?

Do you have a source for that? As far as I know, that plugin hasn’t been updated for 7 or so years...
