Much ado about nothing. I mean...... interesting but there was probably a better way about it. I’ve never been denied rides much and usually things work quite well.

I've been denied so frequently with uber that I lost count. They tell you they'll do whatever and nothing changes. I stopped using them after being late for/missing medical appointments after multiple drivers in a row would cancel. They see guide dog and game over. I have a few friend's who still use them - difference being they aren't on a schedule and it doesn't matter if they have to rebook multiple times.

I have a cane it’s fine I don’t tell them anything until they show up and at that point people just say are you waiting for this ride I professionally say yes and get in and it all works out.

Friend with guide dog was refused twice yesterday. When the third turned up they tried to refuse the guide dog and after finally agreeing they argued in the car for another 10 minutes about why they never accept any dog.
