Where can I find inexpensive braille maps?(self.Blind)
submitted by EvilChocolateCookie
I was never taught how to read a map. Now I'm getting into serious trivia, and there are a lot of geography questions. I don't know what country borders Zimbabwe. I'm looking for some inexpensive maps so that I can actually learn how to read them.

Hi there! See3D is a non-profit organization that manages the printing and distribution of 3D printed models for people who are blind. We have made many maps before. If you submit a request on our website we can make you maps for free. $1

Hi. I believe that APH sold a book of tactile maps at one point.

The APH website still has some tactile maps for sale. Here’s the link for a world map.
If you have access to an embosser or a PIAF machine (aka swell touch or micro capsule), APH has a free tactile graphics library with tons of maps you can print out for free.
