20 y/o losing sight in my left eye (self.Blind)
submitted by snoozynoodle459
For the past few months now I've been having issues with my sight and from time to time my eye just like taps out and goes dark for a few seconds. (maybe 15-20 seconds at most) It just kind of started happening randomly but when it's not all dark everything is a little fuzzy almost like there's tv snow over my vision but only on one side. Then the other day I was watching tv and everyone's faces looked all warped and dented in and I thought it was kinda funny until I realized that the tv wasn't doing that to their faces, my eye was.

I tried to get an appointment with my eye doctor because I do wear glasses but they no longer take the insurance I have and I need to have that specific one for the medication I'm on so I'm a little stuck.. One thing I hate doing is the Dr. Google deep dive but I had to know what's going on with me so I want to ask some people that may have had experiences with these types of problems.

At this point any kind of answers would be a huge help I just want to know where I should go from here because it's slowly getting worse haha

My retina in my left eye is detached and my right eye there's something called lattice degeneration. So yeah bro I'd see an eye doctor ASAP.

For something like that, you definitely want to see a doctor. Eyesight just going dark for a few seconds is not a good sign, and you want a professional for something like this.
