So... What would be a nice game for blind people?(self.Blind)

I am currently thinking of making a game for blind people. I am thinking of a grid based game with stealth and vibration whenever u hit something., enemies make a lot of sound. Any ideas?

Check out audiogames.net to get an idea of what already exists.

Oh it exists but I think they won't include vibration elements will they I am thinking of a Dishonored inspired stealth game with a wide open world and no visuals kinda (ambitious for a person who hadn't made games I guess lol)

Try playing your game with no graphics or even with a blindfold to get a better idea of what parts of the game benefit from certain design elements.
Do keep in mind that vibration features are usually confined to a controller, so if you plan to have keyboard inputs (recommended for a computer game) you should make sure your vibration is not the only cue.
Basically, developing for blind people is about letting the user know where things are with what senses they do have. Actually, designing a vibration interface is often ignored and can be tremendously helpful in controller situations, so its not a bad idea at all! But focus on creating *multiple modes* of input and output so that blind users can customize their experience based on their needs.
Don't be discouraged if something similar exists, you're still providing new content for blind people to enjoy. People can help you make the interface more accessible over time, but do be warned, some people are pretty aggressive on audiogames and the site has a history of chasing off developers.
Audiogames is helpful for finding players, but admittedly organizing blind players outside of audiogames has been kind of a challenge, so if you don't like the site I would try posting on other communities. Don't let it discourage you - accessibility in games and other kinds of development is cool and its always great to see people trying to experiment with new ideas.

This is really cool. What I would love is if the character was in a dituatikn where they couldn't see, so maybe they are an assassin hiding in the shadows, or a prisoner in a cell underground. It would be so fun having to use hearing for accuracy in the game (like identifying a difference in pitch or knowing how far away a guards footsteps were to know if youll get caught) and of course including vibrations like if a car goes by or something for the added effect.

Wow cool but I'm currently trying a fantasy RPG like Pokémon I think making Pokémon would be easier and more understandable for blind people maybe stealth game would be second of mine . I am starting development next week for the RPG.

Sounds like a good idea. I've been playing audio games since the age of 7 and dabbling in mainstream games on and off since 13. As long as you make it so that the game can be played fully with a keyboard and no vibration (many blind people don't have controllers and don't even like using mice) than you should be good.
Adding simple high contrast graphics for the low vision people, alternate keyboard layouts or a keymapper for those with dextarity problems, and making a panning limit adjustment for those with hearing issues would also be great accessibility additions that would let more people play your game.
Let me know if you need help with finding good free sound effects/music that won't get you in any trouble.

I haven't started this year but I'm thinking of a blind protoganist I can't draw and I'm a 15 year old so I think It is better . Also since a person asked for dragons maybe a pokemone like dragon game with a open world I'm currently working on it by drawing a shape for a map and drawing grids on it until I'm satisfied I'm getting a break from school after a week and there's when I intend on working on it . Also maybe a android game for vibration although the game will have to be slow paced considering how hard it has to be to find movement keys but this will be an advantage since vibration will give a new depth to it.

I'm blind, and I always want to experience and audio RPG, like, Magic, dragons, stuff like this, but I don't found any of this yet.

I must learn yet how to make an RPG but I'll try my best. Have you tried Skyrim Alexa edition I don't know how it works since it is not available in my region.

Is not available for me too.

Bro I am going to make a Pokémon game with dragons and I am replaying Pokémon to get the pacing will you prefer to move your character with onscreen controls on a phone or tilting it and will you like for it to vibrate when hitting the walls
pandalaur1 points2y ago
I don't know if it is posible because I'm a total 0 when comes to development but, you can implement in the first boot of the game a Dialog when user can chose what control method to use. I personally chose on screen controls because some phones sucks in terms of gyroscope.
