Smart Tracking Auto Phone Holder (self.Blind)
submitted by seafoamwaltz
Hey all. So I’m totally blind, and I sometimes have a go at taking my own selfies or filming my own videos, for various platforms. I usually run them past my mom to make sure they look okay and I’m actually fully in focus, but it would be nice to not always have to do this.

I posted a selfie to a subreddit I’m a member of, and someone mentioned in the comments that there are iPhone holders that rotate to track your face and keep you in focus, so I looked them up on Amazon and there are indeed quite a few different models of this. My question is, have any of you ever used one, and if so, did it work well? The ones I’ve found seem to be basically like selfie sticks, but with the additional ability to rotate to follow your face when you move. Some of them require you to download an app and use that to film, but not all. Most of them have very mixed reviews, which is why I came here to ask for firsthand experiences.

thanks in advance for any help you can offer.

This sounds like a good concept. Hope someone with experience using these chimes in.

360 Auto Tracking Phone Holder by Tikisoka, the personal robot cameraman. This device doesn't need to be paired with an extra app, tracks facial and object movement, following the person/animal/object via AI in full 360-degree motion, replacing the job of a cameraman!
