Interested in being a certified Web Accessibility Specialist? Join my study group.(self.Blind)

My apologies if this is too off topic. I'm looking for web-developers who are interested in mastering digital accessibility. The goal is to form a study group of about 5-10 likeminded people who want to learn as much as they can about digital accessibility. We will start out by working our way through the Deque University course material and eventually write the IAAP web accessibility specialist certification exam. 3-6 months from now we should have a knowledge of accessibility that will make us desirable to employers. We will compare notes on /r/a11yfun.
Deque University can cost up to $315 USD but they can give full scholarships to people with disabilities. You might also be able to get your employer to pay for this training since its a very useful skill set to have in web-development. Even if you are disabled but don't want to go through with paying for the IAAP certification it might be worth it for you to participate in this free training since the knowledge is more valuable than the cert.
Eventually we will also export other areas of digital accessibility like making documents and managing large remediation projects.
IAAP Web Accessibility Specialist certification costs $430 USD but if we can get a group of at least 5 people we can get a $100 discount. We will probably also be able to write the Certified Professional in Accessibility Core Competencies exam with another $100 discount if there is enough interest.
If any of this sounds interesting to you, please join the /r/a11yfun subreddit and comment on the posts.
