How to make the voice of NVDA tset to Microsoft narrator voice (self.Blind)
submitted by Evening-Influence-85
Ok so Microsoft did an update on my computer last week. After that, the voice of the NVDA suddenly changed to the narrator voice of the Microsoft. I realized that this sounds better than the robotic voice of what NVDA have. I don't have eloquence. Then yesterday, there was an update again. After that, the voice of the NVDA went back to the robotic voice which I don't like. I'm trying to figure out how can I set it back to the narrator voice of the Microsoft. I tried to change the setting on the NVDA menu but I can't find the narrator voice option. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

You should be able to find that under settings then speech. Set the synthesizer to Microsoft Speech API.

Do you mean Microsoft Siri, Microsoft Mark or Microsoft David? They are in the Windows Core Voices synth group option in Settings - Speech.

You can also open Narrator and check its Settings - Voice to find which voice it is using, then look for that name in NVDA. Since NVDA used it previously, it should be within one of the synth group options. You'll have to change the synth group to see different voice options.
