My best friend's first guide dog recently passed. She was an incredible being. I'm looking for a gift of remembrance for my best friend. Any suggestions? My friend is not much of a jewelry wearer, but my best idea right now is an engraved pendant with a picture of them together. Any other ideas? (self.Blind)

Living as a blind person without regular visual help, I was very grateful for photos of the dog and myself I could confidently display to others whilst knowing in detail what was in the picture.

I'm thinking of framing a picture of the 3 of us and getting a braille lable on the frame

I would suggest a tactile picture that she could feel of either her pup or her pup and her. With an engraving with her dogs name on it. That would probably be better than a pendant with a picture she can't see.

Maybe a video of them together, you could describe what each scene is at it comes up. Think audio description. She could put that on when she's feeling sad.

Or a treasure chest engraved with something special that she could feel.

Those are great ideas! I found a 3d printer on etsy that will print 3d pictures. I hope it's gonna be cool!

That sounds great! I'm sure she's going to love whatever you do.
