I’m not sure what my vision problem is. All I know is I was born with low vision and can only see things with sharpness at the distance of roughly 7 feet. That’s about it. After 18 years of going to the eye doctor for pictures I realized something wasn’t right. My vision hasn’t become any worse than it was for my whole life now (18). But If I didnt know any better I’d say the pictures were to see if I’m going blind and I am beyond scared.

I’m not sure if I entirely understand. The whole point of going to the eye doctor is to test your vision? For example, when I go, they measure my eye pressure every time, even though I’ve never had problems with eye pressure before. I’m not expecting such problems, either, as it’s not part of my eye condition. But elevated eye pressure can damage your eyes. So they check every time just in case.
I assume a similar thing is happening in your case. Your vision is stable, and they may very well expect to remain stable (don’t know your condition so can’t say for sure). But if it does start to change, they’ll want to catch it right away, so they do all the tests.
Honestly, your best bet would be to talk to your eye doctor, and just ask them what they’re doing and why. They should be able to explain it to you, and tell you how likely they think it is that you’ll lose more vision.
And the thing is, if you know early that you’re starting to lose more vision, you have more time to prepare, eg to get orientation & mobility, and independent living skills training. Going completely blind is a big, scary change, yes. I can’t even image what that’s like. But there’s alternate ways of doing things, and assistive technology. We adapt, and blind people live full and active lives, just like our sighted peers.
If you needed corrective lenses, you would be given a prescription. That is not something optometrists hide from their patients.

They would certainly let you know if they noticed any damage or deterioration! And getting those images is normal for any eye exam, though some places charge extra for it. Can you discuss your concerns with your optometrist? They may be able to explain your test results better and put your mind at ease.

They usually don’t say much they just tell me it’s stable. I want to ask and I’ve tried to sort of but I’m kinda scared of the answer.

Hi, is that uncorrected vision of 6/7ft or with correction? I wear glasses and without them I can only see a few inches, although that happened over time between 11 and 18 years old. Now it hardly changes at all.
