What kind of cane tip do you guys use? I've been checking into canes, and there are a lot of different kinds of tips. and some seem to do different things.
What cane tip would be good for regular city walking?

Marshmellow is nice for city but. Agree that tennis is better if your city streets aren’t the best kept

I personally use a marshmallow tip, I found that a tennis ball one is good for sidewalks and grates because it gets stuck less easily

Another vote for marshmallow tip.

I use a pencil cane tip. I find the marshmallow cane tip to be a little heavy.

Currently got a marshmallow but want to get me a tennis ball. The pencil is just too tough on my wrists with the constant tapping.

I don't use a cane anymore, but I like a roller tip because I could exert force on the ground and feel all the little spots.

The two common ones for walking in urban areas is a marshmallow tip, or a roller tip. The roller tip is a little larger than a marshmallow but it rolls, so it gives you more tactile feedback. However, it is also heavier. So it does depend on what technique you use.

Metal glide ti. I like the sensitivity.

Roller ball tip. It’s essentially a marshmallow tip with a ball bearing in it, so it rolls as you slide your cane back and forth. I find a pencil tip gets stuck in all kinds of cracks and divers, and I just end up jabbing myself in the stomach a lot.

Pencil. Big round tips are better in some of the ways people say here but I find that if you don't do constant contact you can minimise the getting stuck and the better feedback is, well better!
