I'm at my local Starbucks right now, and they have a menu in Braille.(self.Blind)

I know it isn't much. But it just feels so freaking nice. I always come to the same one after working out. Most of the staff knows me. The manager either made a request for one, or bought one herself. Either way, I got to order for myself for once. I didn't have to sit with my friend and have the menu read to me. I felt accepted and human again.
The staff was so excited to show me. Talked me into sitting outside so they can find it, since they just got it last week. I'm in tears right now from joy. Had to share.

I just heard about it as well! Large print as well! The baristas seem really excited as you say.

Even though I don't use braille as much anymore I still get excited when I see it around. BTW, if you have a phone Starbucks app is pretty accessible, it allows you to see what are available and what additions you could make. It's useful to know your options even if you don't order through the app.

Cool, I shall have to ask about this.
So this one time I was out with the guys at the local Jack Astor's, sure you know that bar. So we're sitting at the table and I ask the waitress (cause I'm 70% certain) whether they have a Braille menu.
She looks at me with a look so blank I can see it and says "Braille? Braille? Is that the menu with the healthy low calorie alternatives on it?"
"No, It's the menu with all the little bumps" could not believe someone of my generation not knowing Braille.

It's really amazing! Braille makes all the difference in the world. What Starbucks did is beautiful.
